High or low blood pressure is a very commonly observed syndrome that is observed in people worldwide. Low blood pressure is the force that the blood exerts on the walls of the blood vessels, which may be categorized by lowered heart beats, rate of breathing and temperature. In actual terms blood pressure is generated by the heart pumping blood in to the arteries. When the heart pumps the blood pressure levels are always higher, than when it is relaxing. It is when the blood flow is too low, which lacks delivering enough blood to the required areas to function properly.
Whereas, high blood pressure is recognized when the pressure is increased over 130/80, and as far as low blood pressure is considered, 90/50.
Signs and symptoms of low blood pressure include feeling light headed, dry mouth, exhaustion, excessive sweating, dizziness, fatigue etc. these symptoms can be observed when the person is experiencing low blood pressure. Also, chronic low blood pressure can result in increased risks of getting triggered by severe chest pains, angina and even heart attacks.
As far as high blood pressure or hypertension is concerned, some of the majorly observed symptoms include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, chest pains, shortness of breath, blurred vision etc. In actual terms the person having high blood pressure is generally unaware of it, as it only comes to know when it is measured.
Chronic high blood pressure can come up with increased risks of getting heart related problems like heart attack, failures, strokes, kidney failure, eye damage etc. It is generally categorized as a malignant type of hypertension.
